Caffe Sole’s biggest fan and local Mail Man, Joey, just had a birthday yesterday! And I went a little bit crazy with his birthday cake…possibly some chocolate overload? Nahhh. Never, right? Actually, I don’t think I can eat chocolate for…a couple of days. Ha! I kinda feel sick and lumpy from it. Bleh. But this was a fine tasting cake. It was 3 layers of chocolate cake...each layer lathered in some room temperature ganache and yummy chocolate mousse. I then poured chocolate ganache alllll over it and decorated with some chocolate buttercream. This wasn’t the prettiest cake I’ve made…actually, it was very un-pretty from the side. So don’t judge it all you pros, k? It was tasty and that’s what counts, damnit!

A brilliant friend of mine just introduced me to THIS band. Hell, yeah yeah! Lord do I love feisty red heads.
And I want this woman’s hairdo, oh yes I do.I am also in love with THIS band at the moment.

I just saw the movie Head-On. I highly recommend it…that is if you don’t mind feeling frustrated, depressed and messed with. Personally, that’s my favorite kind of movie. It is a German movie about two Turkish immigrants who marry for very bazaar reasons. Great acting, music and cinematography….rent it…but if you cry don’t blame me.
